September Goals



Well, it's officially the end of summer holidays. I'm a little sad about it since it means the warm weather won't be around for much longer, but I'm also super excited because I LOVE FALL!

Let's get into my goals ... 

August Goals Recap

Home/Life
  • Get out of the house once a week to blog/read - I may have only gotten out for about an hour or so, but it's better than nothing!
  • Paint home office - I ended up changing my mind on what paint colour I wanted, so I'm back to square one
  • Use my snazzy new Ban.do planner - I love my planner!! I have this one, in case you're wondering :) 

Health/Fitness
  • Go to one fitness class - This was a super awful experience. I picked the wrong class to go to. Ooops. 
  • No more pop (soda) - unless I'm at a restaurant, then I can have ONE glass - I'm actually really proud of myself for this one. I wasn't a huge soda drinker, but when I did drink one I would crave more and it's just unnecessary. 
  • Only eat out twice a week (once for work lunch, once for a dinner date) - HUGE FAIL. In all fairness, I had a lot of work meetings that required me to go out for lunch, but still.
  • Make a meal plan for each week - I'm really not good at this. 

Blog/Social Media
  • Post 5 times this month - Again, I'm really disappointed that this didn't work out. I have more blog posts plans for this month, so I'm hoping to do MUCH better 
  • Gain 100 Instagram followers - I was 15 away! I feel like I've finally broken down the mystery that is Instagram and I'm really excited about it.
  • Finish reading Building a Framework and create action plan - so much success with this one!! This e-book was really enlightening and taught me a lot.  
  • Update 'About Me' page - No luck. I've done a lot of research and 'pinned' a lot of posts on the subject, so I'm ready to crush this goal now.

Using my Ban.do planner has made me more accountable and I've been better at scheduling tasks to help me reach my goals. This month is going to be a crazy busy month at my 9-5. My job can be mentally draining at times, so when I come home all I want to do is relax and unwind. I'm trying to turn this into the motivation I need to work harder at my side hustle so I can quit my 9-5 and do this full time!

Home/Life
  • Paint home office
  • Make a cleaning schedule for the house 
  • Put together a budget that includes savings 

Health/Fitness
  • Only eat out twice a week (once for work lunch, once for dinner date)
  • Meal prep at least two days in advance 
  • Drink 2 liters of water a day 

Blog/Social Media
  • Post 5 times this month
  • Gain 100 Instagram followers
  • Update 'About Me' page
