My 5 favorite apps

I'm not going to lie, I can't survive without my phone. Whenever I forget my phone at home I feel like one of my limbs is missing. I have everything on there and it's so easy to access. It's replaced my address book, my planner, my digital camera, my alarm clock....my phone does EVERYTHING!

There are many others like me, who needs this piece of technology to get through the day. Below I've listed 5 FREE apps that are a necessity to me. Of course, these aren't the only ones that I love, but without them, I'd be lost.

There are many others like me, who needs this piece of technology to get through the day. Below I've listed 5 FREE apps that are a necessity to me. If you're looking for apps to download on your smartphone, these are them.

Sol Calendar

Sol Calendar

This is my all time favorite calendar app. I think it's adorable, and it syncs everything together, and has a useful widget as well.
I searched the internet far and wide to find a good calendar widget for my Android. It's important to me that I have everything visible right on my phone and don't have to go searching inside an app. Not only does Sol Calendar have an attractive widget, I can also sync up all my calendars and my to-dos into one place. It can sync my Google calendar and tasks, Outlook calendar and tasks, Wunderlist tasks, and more. You can customize your tasks and appointments with cute little stickers as well, which is a plus!

Wunderlist

Wunderlist

This is another app that keeps me organized. I'm one of those people that would forget their head if it wasn't attached. With Wunderlist I can make lists FOR ANYTHING and set reminders for everything on my list. If I have to pay a bill, or pick up milk, I add it to a list and set a reminder to be sure I don't forget. It also has a really simple Android Widget!
The best thing about this app is that I can sync it on my phone, tablet, and desktop! I have what I need anywhere I go.

Google Photos

Google Photos

This app is a huge storage saver for me. One of the reasons I made the switch from an iPhone to an Android phone was because of storage. I didn't want to shell out the expense for an iPhone with more storage when I could just buy an Android phone and add an SD card to it to add more storage. If I had researched this more I might not have made the switch in the first place (although I'm happy I did - and also with my new Android phone I can't add an SD card anymore *sad face*). Having some place to upload my photos - JUST MY PHOTOS - is really helpful. This app provides unlimited high quality photo storage, I can search keywords on my photos, edit them quickly, and share them with friends and family. It's also really helpful because I use google for everything, so it just makes it that much more appealing to me.

theBerry

Update: theBerry no longer has a smartphone app, however, I've added a shortcut to their website www.theberry.com on my homescreen so I can still visit it daily.

theBerry

This is a must have app for me when I have some time to waste. If you haven't heard of theBerry, you're missing out BIG TIME. All I really have to say is, Shirtless Friday! Just get the app. Enough said ;)

Flipp

Flipp

This is a flyer and coupon app that saves you some time. You can view all flyers in your area in once place, get coupons, and even coupon MATCH. They show you how to get the best savings by telling you where the best deals are and what coupons you can use with those deals to save even more money. Who doesn't like to save money? You can even make a shopping list from this app, and 'clip' deals in each flyer to make them easier to reference when you're shopping or making your grocery list.

I try and discover new apps to use often, so you might see another list coming soon!

What apps can you not live without?
